Best Tapas Restaurants in Watchung

So cute! It was early so it was empty. We had drinks and apps. Pork and black bean sliders were so good. Delivered hot which I love. So flavorful and the perfect meal before a show at the Welmont. Three big sliders per order. Very worth the money. Service could have been better. Look forward to coming again in warm weather to sit outside!!

Came here for a celebratory dinner with my spouse. We shared Clams Casino as an appetizer, and he had sea bass as an entree while I had the grouper. He enjoyed Birdsmouth lager, and I had a cocktail and glass of wine, then we each had dessert (peanut butter brownie and salted chocolate chip cookie). I also had an after dinner drink--the Jolly Roger. Everything was top-notch--the service was efficient but not rushed, the food was hot and delicious, our table was comfortable and we could converse easily but still felt the happy vibe of other diners around us, and the surroundings were elegant. Price point was high-end but not unreasonable--entrees $40-45, drinks around $14 each, extras $10-15 each. Parking was convenient at the Church Street garage across the street (though not included). Would absolutely come here again for a special occasion.

I came to Pachamama for dinner on a pretty quiet Sunday night with 2 other people. The food was great. The staff we dealt with were nice based on the interactions we had with them, too. However, their service started out strong but seemed to fizzle out as time went on; we had to order a drink 3 times because it never got put in or somehow accidentally got deleted, and had to ask for more water several times, and never actually got it. I’d still go back, however!

The waiters were so sweet very attractive very kind. The small plates were fine nothing out of this world, but still good. The paella was honestly a little sad. The rice didn’t have any flavor to be honest.
