Classy, dimly lit and refreshing restaurant with beautiful outdoor patio seating as well.More infoStar Leaf - Asian CuisinePrice: Expensive• Asian• Pasadena•4.7
- EEdLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI planned a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend's 30th with all of her friends. The restaurant was more than helpful in preparation of the day leading up to it. I made a reservation more than a month out and they were very communicative throughout the time before the big day. There was some miscommunication over the food that was being ordered in advance, but when I spoke with the manager on the night, she was EXTREMELY gracious and offered to comp the 2nd Lao Platter for free because of this disconnect along the way. Everybody left extremely stuffed and pleased. I can't say enough great things about the restaurant's ambiance and food. We planned it for a Wednesday and while there was an equally large party of 11 besides us, the tables were set up in a way that didn't feel cramped and we still felt waited on as if we were the only ones. 10/10 would recommend and beyond the service, the food was exquisite. We even had a few vegan/vegetarians and the staff was more than helpful in accommodating those requests to make everyone feel comfortable. Lastly, the drinks were very unique and fun! Everyone would "ooo and ahh" whenever various drinks would come out because of how different they all were and the way they were presented (i.e. a magic genie lamp, a slushie type drink and a light up drink from the bottom). All in all, what could have been a bad night due to the miscommunication, was more than made up for by the friendliness of the management and staff! Valet was also offered for only $7 but they had plenty of street parking available as well so everyone was able to get in/get out with ease.More infoFarmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine - Los AngelesPrice: Expensive• Thai• South Los Angeles•4.8
- AAdrienneSan Francisco Bay Area •8 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 16, 2024This was mine and my three friends first time dining at La Ong. We had a great experience! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm smile and welcomed. Everything we ordered was excellent! The food, service and ambiance was all very well executed! I've recently returned from a trip to Bangkok and now I know where I can revisit a piece of it here in LA. We had the organic fresh green rolls (I need them to bottle the peanut sauce.lol), crab fried rice, sea bass southern thai curry, holy basil noodles and the dirty wagu beef! I would order everything again!More infoLa OngPrice: Moderate• Thai• Beverly Hills•4.6
- DDanielaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 6, 2024The restaurant is delicious, beautiful and very unique with its dishes. The tuna tartare was wonderful! It was a huge portion and very acidic. The mushrooms ravioli was just a unique spin! Sour yet creamy a perfect balance. This place made me feel special for my birthday.More infoQueen Violet WehoPrice: Moderate• Asian• West Hollywood•4.7
