Best Traditional Spanish Restaurants in Santa Fe / Bosques

This is an exceptional Spanish restaurant. The food and service were both excellent. The outside of the building is understated but it is beautiful inside. It is not expensive by US standards, would definitely go back. Really enjoyed the broken eggs with chistora.

Our best meal in Mexico City. The staff was attentive and friendly … even though we spoke no Spanish. We have 13 items and they were excellent except for the potatoes. Even the wine they recommended was the perfect pairing.

The food is wonderful and the service is professional and friendly.

Another excellent meal in Polanco. Recommended by friends, we were looking forward to our reservation on a Friday night. We were expected and sat immediately. Mescalitas flowed freely. They didn’t have an English menu but provided a QR code that linked to one. Very friendly staff, excellent pairing of wine with food, and the second off the planet suckling pig I had eaten that week. The better half ordered the Iberian pork rib and it too was superb, falling off the bone. One slight negative was a street urchin not desisting over the garden hedge but our waiter made short work of him, allowing our night to continue beautifully. Highly recommend this place - ask for Antonio Lastra. Excellent service and a good sense of humour.

Having been to Spain multiple times, this was rather weak version of true tapas.  Some foods we’re good and others only so so.  Service and price where very good.
