Love the food and service, but i do wish the staff wasn’t as attentive because it felt like we were being pushed out. Logically, I understand; however, it’s difficult to have a meaningful conversation when there is someone asking to grab the leftovers every 5 mins or so…

This is the most authentic Turkish food in the DMV! Not only is it made in house but everything from the decorations to the chairs was thoughtfully selected and imported to give the perfect ambiance and 100% authentic experience. The belly dancer made the whole experience complete.

Ottoman Taverna in Washington, D.C., provided a memorable experience for my mom and me on Christmas Eve. We were treated to a wonderful prix fixe menu that perfectly captured the flavors and richness of Turkish cuisine. As someone who had never tried Turkish food before, my mom was pleasantly surprised by the variety and authenticity of the dishes. From savory appetizers to tender kebabs, each course was a delight. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special holiday meal. The service was attentive, and overall, it was a fantastic introduction to Turkish cuisine. Highly recommended!

Our server Omar made our night! Very courteous and cheerful! Delicious food —offering a tongue and such utensils could make it easier to manage the table.
