The best part of the evening was our server, Lynn, who was knowledgeable and professional. If you go to this restaurant ask for her!More infoil PorcellinoPrice: Moderate• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.7

- SSeanvipChicago / Illinois •10 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe’ve been hesitant to visit the Walnut Room due to food allergies but decided to give it a try. From the moment we sat down, Jesus, our waiter, was so attentive. He noticed our allergen card in the table and immediately addressed it, letting us know he find out anything we needed to know and would talk to the chef personally to see what our son could eat. We’ve always wanted to visit this beautiful restaurant but never did out of fear of allergies. But Jesus helped to make this experience amazing for our whole family. Thank you for taking the time to understand our allergies and walk us through the menu. It was a great start to the holiday season. We will be back again!More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.7

The chicken was wonderful and large portion. The lobster Louie had tons of lobster. Veg Wellington was excellent. The fennel salad was great! Great decor. And an interesting selection of good wines, all from Michigan! (Yes, I eas surprised that those words would even come out of my mouth - and I’m from Michigan!)
