Located in the Heart of Sonoma Valley, Loxton Cellars is a working winery surrounded by 5 acres of estate vineyard. It is the intent of owner/winemaker, Chris Loxton, to produce handcrafted wines, made without compromise, that show balance and a sense of place. Wine tastings (no food) are currently offered by reservation and take place outdoors allowing guests to enjoy a lineup of handcrafted wines while taking in breathtaking views of the Mayacamas mountain range. Tastings are $20/person, include a flight of 5 wines and offer a casual and educational experience. In the event of rain we do have you covered, but it can be a bit chilly this time of year so we suggest bringing layers. While we do not sell or serve food, you are welcome to bring snacks or lunch to enjoy in the picnic area.     The meal was delicious (scallops, chicken parmigiana), the specialty drinks are incredible (smoked Negroni - taste and visually), but the service was spectacular and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend visiting Carpe Diem! Lots of free public parking lots in the area.

    Had an amazing dinner with a friend visiting town. Loved the service, loved the food. No wait at all. Actually- a very nice spot for a date night. Dimmed lights and spaced out seating from other tables.

    John and team continue to do an outstanding job pairing wines with delicious food selections. The pairings often are novel and a nice way to introduce pairings one might not typically consider. We’ll definitely be back.

    First time, and totally recommend here. We were there on a Saturday evening when there was live music as well. Food was delicious, Best gnocchi I have had - they were so light. We had crab cakes, burrata, salad with fillet and fries and a delicious crème brûlée. Connected with the Market next but a more intimate setting I felt.
