Bar seating and ledge-leaning is the rule of thumb -- think Paris tabac or the zinc -- the heat of local life, crowded with regulars at the counter waiting for their vin rouge. More than an amuse-bouche, less than a serving. Before Stuft Pizza gained recognition as a top restaurant in Palm Desert, and La Quinta, Jack Bertram and his wife, Pat, launched the first Stuft Pizza in Cerritos, California in 1976. After nearly 9 months of experimenting, Jack developed the recipe for the now beloved pizza. Despite initially offering only take-out pizza, the store's unwavering commitment to quality propelled its success. Two years later, Jack and Pat opened a second store in Whittier, and in 1986, Stuft Pizza transitioned into a franchise. While franchisee-owned outlets operate outside the Coachella Valley, the Stuft Pizza Bar & Grill locations in the desert, both owned by the Bertram Family, are distinct. Since 2004 in La Quinta and 2014 in Palm Desert, we have been proud fixtures in the desert, boasting expanded menus, full bars, full service, HD TVs, and an exceptional wine list.

Canopy Wine Lounge is a driving source for wine & community no matter where your palate takes you. To curate this lounge, a partnership formed between longtime Palm Springs local Noah Mamet and the owner of our 15 unique winery properties around the globe. Our decor is a modern take on the popular design of the 1950's, using clean lines, pops of color, and various textured fabrics and fixtures. To accent our wine bar, we have a custom-built clay amphora where our in-house winemaker will be fermenting and ageing a Californian rosé. Glowing fireplace features highlight our meticulously curated selection of desert plants. Our food bites are meant to be paired with quality-driven wines and lively conversation between friends.
