Best Yakitori Restaurants in Childs Hill

I love Sticks N Sushi in Islington. The food is excellent and there is a lot of choice at all prices but this time I found the service was not very good. There were only a few tables occupied and most of the time, we could not see any staff members around. Hopefully next time we go it will be better. Previously the service had been excellent but this time I could not see any of the staff we had before and the server who attended to us was very new.

Staff were fab, really jolly and friendly, they looked like the loved being at work. Food was fantastic!

Absolutely loved the food here, we had a set platter that included about 8 different dishes to share, so got to try a few different things. Every dish was delicious, could not fault them in any way, all perfectly cooked and prepared, with a great variety of flavours and textures. Service was also great, attentive but not overbearing, and food came out quickly. We will definitely be returning.

Efficient and friendly front of house. Charming and helpful wait staff. Unfortunately for me (I am possibly the only person in the Western world, who loathes Avo) whilst not stated on the menu - my salad had a lot of Avocado. My friend had to wait quite a while for her food, but the apology was so charming and sincere, that it didn’t matter. Pretty calm and peaceful for a half term Friday too. We’ll be back

My partner is Japanese and grew up in the country. We loved the flavours and thoughtful arrangement of the omakase. Chef also included an extra skewer while overhearing my partner talk about it being his childhood favourite. We cannot praise this venue enough!
