Customshop is a chef-driven restaurant that showcases local farms and purveyors in an effort to bring our guests the highest quality ingredients within our community. Executive Chef and Owner Andres Kaifer along with his team believe in crafting honest straightforward food with an elevated modern touch that delivers something truly unique. Weekly menu changes allow us to highlight the seasonality of food and the beauty of North Carolina produce, seafood, and specialty items. With stylistic inspiration from Spain, Italy, and France, our neighborhood restaurant aims to make everyone feel welcome.     The raviolo, empanadas, sea bass and chocolate tart were outstanding. Awesome Old-Fashioned and great wine pairings. Our server was extremely knowledgeable on the wines and the specialties. Atmosphere was upbeat, though a bit cramped. Overall great experience.

    My wife and I had a fantastic time dining here! Lily, our server, was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and made our evening even more enjoyable. Although the bread pudding wasn’t available, the pumpkin spice cake was a delightful substitute—rich, flavorful, and perfect for the season. The restaurant’s seasonal menu offers a great variety of dishes, and the cocktails were absolutely on point. This spot is ideal for a romantic date night or celebrating a special occasion. We’ve been here before and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

    Custom Shop always has the best menu and great food! Loved everything from the beets to the Sea Bass. Definitely our favorite in Charlotte (and we are picky…)

    We arrived to find that the seats we reserved were not available at the bar, but that we could be sat at a table along the wall. The wall was an outside building wall that radiated cold, so I froze the entire time. I guess because we had originally booked the bar, that they had the bartender wait on us at the table, which insured that our service would be slow and inattentive. I had the Chilean sea bass that was tasty, but the sauce it was served in had cold mussels in the warm sauce. It was like they had them in the fridge and tossed them onto the plate without warming them at all. This is our second time dining here, and the first was good enough to bring us back, last night was a miss completely.

    We were lucky to get a last minute reservation for bar seats. Which was great, because Erica was an amazing bartender and we enjoyed watching her create incredible cocktails and chatted away. She gave us dessert on the house for being her fave customers that night. The food was incredible. I loved the whole experience!
