Customshop is a chef-driven restaurant that showcases local farms and purveyors in an effort to bring our guests the highest quality ingredients within our community. Executive Chef and Owner Andres Kaifer along with his team believe in crafting honest straightforward food with an elevated modern touch that delivers something truly unique. Weekly menu changes allow us to highlight the seasonality of food and the beauty of North Carolina produce, seafood, and specialty items. With stylistic inspiration from Spain, Italy, and France, our neighborhood restaurant aims to make everyone feel welcome. We are proud to offer a seasonal cocktail menu that also takes an ingredient-first approach and looks to mirror the creativity and ingenuity of our culinary team. Our wine list is curated around a balance of old-world staples as well as new and emerging producers pushing the envelope.     food and service were both terrific. and we really liked the vibe. Cool casual. Definitely will bet back. Tuna crudo, scallops and bass all prepared perfectly. And .. the Tom Bomb cocktail was off the charts! Highly recommend.

    Great food and drinks as always. I booked a reso for my birthday since this is my favorite restaurant and we frequent every few months but there was no real acknowledgment of the special day so that was disappointing

    Food was amazing as always. Felt incredibly rushed to get out of there by the staff. Wasn't offered a drink during dinner after the waitress took my empty glass away. Not like we were there for a long time, had spent 52 minutes in there in total but it was clear they were just trying to turn tables as quick as possible.... Sad experience to be honest.

    Highly recommend this neighborhood favorite. We have enjoyed countless meals there over the last probably 25 years. Food is always thoughtfully prepared and professionally served.

    Our bartender was fantastic. The food was incredible and the service in this restaurant is the best of the best. My favorite restaurant to visit.

    We were not offered bread prior to meal and the food was delivered way too fast. Pasta was served in a cereal sized bowl. The wine was good but mark up was too high. Overall the food was overpriced with very small quantities. 4 scallops for $40 would have been fine had they tasted good. Overall we felt rushed. We will not go back.
