CUT Steakhouse offers a relaxed fine dining experience sure to please the most sophisticated of diners. Our menu's main attraction is the dry aged USDA prime beef, aged and butchered in-house by our own exacting specifications. Start your evening with a glass of award-winning wine or perhaps a popular Steak Ale. From our menu, savour a dry-aged New York Striploin, delicious Porterhouse, Kobe rib-eye or local filet mignon, all cooked to your specifications. Finish off with an amazing sampling of fine cheeses, a specialty liqueur and a decadent dessert. Downstairs, The Grill at CUT features a fun and funky atmosphere, perfectly paired with a gourmet burger menu with your choice of sophisticated toppings and sides. Take a seat in the large, comfortable bar area overlooking the open kitchen or outside on our beautiful patio overlooking the Halifax waterfront.

    I will say this is the best special occasion dinner I have ever had in Halifax! The steak was melt in your mouth good and the Brussel sprouts side with a beautiful rich BBQ sauce was even as good 😊 Mike, was our wonderful waiter who provided an excellent experience. Will definitely choose thie location for our treat location again and again! 🥰🙌🤩

    Our experience tonight was way beyond exceptional. The food was amazing but the service was outstanding. In all the places we have visited we have never had such outstanding service as we did tonight. Hats off to you well done, your staff is exceptional.

    We opted for the "Dine Around Halifax" menu. We found it to be enormous amount of food and brought most of it home, including desert. It was all absolutely delicious! The service was a little slow, but the servers themselves were lovely.

    We had the best experience at the Cut. The servers were so kind and accommodating! It was our first time there and we will definately be back. The servers were incredible - cannot stress that enough! Loved the food and the service and the overall feeling!

    Went for dine around menu. The Caesar salad is made by staff right at your table and they explain each step. The sourdough roll was delish as was the butter. Butter was used on the tenderloin streak giving it extra flavour. The sides were generous and my dinner mate raved about the mushrooms. A little more butter on the potatoes was tasty. Dessert of petit four hit the spot and gave different tastes. Service was attentive but not overbearing. A nice little touch on Superbowl Sunday was a parting gift of banana bread. The Malbec wine went well with the meal.

    One of the best dining out experiences I have had in Halifax. From the hostess to the waiters ..absolutely everything was perfect. The tenderloin steak was cooked to perfection. Just a great experience all the way around. Food, ambience, attentiveness..top notch, thank you

    The service was outstanding. Our main waiter was lovely and three other people helped take care of us. They all kept a close eye on our table but never "bothered" us. Water glass were always refilled, dishes taken away when we were done a course. I couldn't interpret the cocktail menu so I asked the waiter if they could make me a drink and gave a description of what I'd like and they made something for me which was deliciousand refreshing. They educate you on the different steaks so you can make an informed decision. Portions are large enough to share. The Ceasar salad made table side was amazing. Very expensive place to dine but worth every penny! Will definitely go again for a special occasion.
