    Amazing experience at DaiLo! We got the Chef Choice and everything that came was better than the last. Mind blowing flavours and I love a meal where I feel like everything is fresh and new. Thanks DaiLo for making it special!

    This place needs no other comment other than, it is the best of the best. If the intention is to get a good return on your dining experience, you will not be disappointed. Every aspect is covered from the moment you walk in, to the moment you are putting on your coat.

    We had such a fabulous meal. We came with our 3.5 year old for our anniversary and were concerned as she was very tired. My husband insisted we keep our reservation as I’ve been dying to try dailo since I saw it on you’ve gotta eat here. So glad we did! The staff treated us and our daughter beautifully. The food was incredible. We had the carpaccio, the Hakka wontons, the pork hock, the crispy octopus tacos and the duck to share. Everyone (including our 3 year old) loved every bit of it. No joke, she ate half of everything. I can’t pick a favourite as all of us loved all of it. It was finished off with lemon and ginger sorbet which was the perfect pallet cleanser. They even brought our little one some as well. She kept saying “that was good ice cream”. Definitely suggesting dailo to all of our friends and family when they’re in the city. Thank you for such a wonderful anniversary dinner!

    Had this place on my list for years and was so happy to finally make it. Everything was great, but the dish we enjoyed the least was the duck. The meat itself was beautifully done but the “potato” salad didn’t seem to fit, I would describe it as a bit eclectic. Overall, the dish was on the sweeter side and quite heavy which was a lot for a final dish after having eaten so much. That being said, we got the dessert and ate every last crumb. A note on the service, it was very nice but there were a few touches that were a bit rough around the edges, almost as if it was a new restaurant with all new staff. It wouldn’t stop me from recommending this place, but I probably won’t be back.

    Hands down dinner at DaiLo was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. Food is spectacular, service and hospitality is warm, fun and generous. An absolute must visit and return restaurant. I will be thinking about and remembering this meal for a long time. Standout dishes were the whole fried fish, octopus taco, betel leaf bite, potato with truffle and mushroom pasta. Cocktails are very good as well.

    We booked well in advance for a special dinner. They seated us upstairs in an overflow area that looked like a special events space that shouldn’t be used as part of the restaurant. The servers also were not on top of their game. My suggestion is not to have that as part of your restaurant as it ruins what is said to be a well regarded place to go in Toronto.
