From the moment we walked in, we were met with outstanding service. The staff was warm, courteous, and incredibly attentive, ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was perfect. Despite a lively group next to us—clearly enjoying a celebratory girls’ night out—the atmosphere remained pleasant and never felt overwhelming. It was a testament to the restaurant’s ambiance that even with a spirited crowd, the experience remained intimate and enjoyable. The food was delicious, showcasing the high-quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation that Daniel George is known for. The drinks, however, were the true highlight—expertly crafted and delicious. Overall, this was a fantastic choice for a special occasion.    We are regular (if not frequent) guests at Daniel George. We arrived at the exact appointed time for our reservations and were offered a choice of the two worst tables in the restaurant. Other, more desirable tables remained vacant throughout our stay. Food was not up to the standards we have come to expect from Daniel George. We may try other dining options on our next visit to Birmingham.

   My first time to go to Daniel George and I was happily surprised. It was a late lunch on Valentines Day and I fully expected to pay a premium price for a meal, but the price was standard and very reasonable. The food was excellent particularly the fried oysters. The service was attentive and polite. The restaurant and bar are very attractive. I will be back!

   Food and drinks were terrific. However, maybe we just lost the table lotto that night because the room we were in was uncomfortably loud. We couldn’t have a conversation with the people at our table due to how loud others were. Would like to reiterate, food was awesome
