dbar is a full service restaurant that seamlessly transforms into a nightclub and lounge as the night goes on. Formally an old school Irish pub filled with mahogany charm, dbar has been renovated into a hip chic hot spot. With warm glowing candles & long leather banquettes, dbar offers a casual and comfortable atmosphere that attracts clientele from Dorchester and surrounding areas. The unique and classy menu inspired by Executive Chef Christopher Coombs changes with the seasons and features the finest and freshest available ingredients throughout the New England area. Most of the menu takes a French twist, but also contains an assortment of comfort foods (such as our famous Veal & Pancetta Bolognaise) and old favorites (like our simple yet delicious Giannone Chicken Under a Brick.)

DBar is far superior and a "hidden gem" compared to many Boston restaurants! Service is friendly and professional. Their Valentine's Day menu was outstanding! Always a pleasure to dine here.

dbar isn’t just about great drinks—the food is top-notch too. The Tuna Tartare was fresh and flavorful, and the Chicken Entrée was perfectly cooked and satisfying. Great spot for a meal with a fun vibe. Will definitely be back!

Grabbed some apps and a couple cocktails with a friend, food was delicious, we got the mussels, crab cakes, scallion pancakes and Aran-cheesy 🙂…everything was tasty! Travis, our waiter was great! Personable and attentive .. which made the whole experience top notch- we will be back!

DBAR is always good - but this last time was even better - GREAT!! Burger is a 💯, chick under a brick is still outstanding, scallion pancakes are a nice new app! Cocktails are off the hook and the staff is always on their game! Shout out to Trish & John!❤️🍸💯😎

Everything about dbar is excellent. We generally sit at the bar where we enjoy exquisite food and crafted cocktails. The staff and servers are friendly and professional. Just lovely.
