   Soupe à l’oignon décevante. Pas d’oignons, peu de fromage. Ça ressemble plus à un bouillon de vin rouge qu’à une soupe à l’oignon. Le service et le poulet étaient excellent.

   The waiter was fantastic. The kitchen abnormally slow. Other guests were so loud and boisterous - it was difficult to have a conversation. The staff was asked to have them tone it down and they did for five minutes . We did not have the dining experience that had anticipated.

   Incredible experience! Food was outstanding and the service impeccable - We celebrated our 20th anniversary and the entire staff went above and beyond.

   Jose was great and answered all our questions and did suggestion some great items. My friend has food allergies and he was well versed in the prep and ingredients of the dishes. We enjoyed the pistachio ice cream (my friend only wanted one scoop) and half the size of the french onion soup (which they kindly accomodated her request) as well as taking out the chicken sausage with the chicken dish (added one more croquette). Our fave was the dessert- yuzu cheese cake & octopus appetizer. The chicken was good. French onion soup was lovely but slight bitter aftertaste for my friend. Ambience / service were impeccable. Enjoyed the foie gras & side of mushrooms, though too many nuts & too sweet for my personal taste with the foie gras appetizer but presentation was gorgeous and artful. Overall an enjoyable meal and more special events place for us.

   We have been to Deuxave several times and have been very pleased. I called them personally to let them know that out of the six of us,two were celebrating an 80th birthday. We were given a long table for six rather than the round for six. From there, the service was extremely slow and when asked about what kind of meat was with the chicken dish, the gentleman was told that it was a half a chicken, so that included light and dark. When it arrived, it was only the white meat. The gentleman that ordered it was interested in having some dark also as that was his favorite. The table was slow to be cleared and it took a long time for any dish to arrive. Another table of six came in after us and was served and out of there before us. I was disappointed and embarrassed as there were two couples taking the third couple out to celebrate the 80th birthdays. Both of us that were hosting had been there before and thought this would be a very special place to take them, as the birthday couple had never been there before.😪

   Rainy, As you might imagine, we are disappointed to read your review. We felt the round table, being in the center of the restaurant, would be too loud for your party, so we organized you along the banquet and did not seat the table next to you, per your request. We tried numerous times to offer the guest who ordered the chicken another entree, but they refused. It is also against our service standards to clear plates until the entire table has finished their course. Our team worked hard to provide a special experience for the occasion, even providing an additional dessert on us with the souffle. I’m sorry the incorrect description of the chicken dish disturbed the evening, but hope that you do choose to join us again. When you do, please book with me at justin@deuxave. Thank you.

   I don't believe I've ever given a 5-star before, but this restaurant was incredible at every level! The ambiance was perfect for a date night. The service was helpful and never rushed. The presentation of the food was top notch, and the taste of everything was incredible. It made for an incredible evening and I would definitely come back here again!

   I’ve been here so many times and it’s always across the board a 10/10 Food last night, 10/10 with the exception of seriously overcooked and close to inedible French fries. Oddly, service was off. Incredibly slow, 2 full hours before entrees arrived. Waiter continually disappearing, was way preoccupied chatting it up with hostess desk, friends or downstairs. Finally had to ask the bar tender to close out our check. Very unusual for this place. Still our fave.

    We had the 5 course meal special and it was definitely good value. The portions were larger than expected. I added foie gras to my meal and the price was fair. The drinks were perfect and the servers were knowledgeable and helpful. The ones bringing out the dish described the food, but would like her to speak up more. It was a lovely meal with no issues. And they even gave us extra treats.
