Great vibe and entertainment. Food was good and not that expensive. Staff were very friendly. Great place for sunsets too.

We sat outside overlooking the water. Our waitress, Charlotte, was excellent and very familiar with the menu offering suggestion of her favorites and most ordered. I had the Caribbean lobster which was excellent. My husband had the sea bass. Bread service was not included but homemade and very good.

Since 1996 in Cruz Bay, St. John. A Favorite of locals, loyal repeats and new guests. We just moved to our new beach location as La Tapa Plage in the Wharfside Hotel Village in March of 2022, still featuring the same interesting ever changing menu including fresh local seafood, organic greens & herbs form Coral Bay, flavors with a touch of Spain & France (Basque Country), Germany and Caribbean. Our goal is to make you feel welcome, cozy and inspired by our great wines, delicious food, good service in a beautiful atmosphere. ---Open for dinner service at 5PM Friday through Wednesday. For parties larger than 6, please call the restauarant at 340-693-7755.---We will be open for Thanksgiving, but closed on Christmas Day.-**We do not have high chairs or booster seats. If you need either, we do have bench seating in the dining area that work's best for small children. Please request bench seating when making your reservation.**

Outstanding, perfectly prepared cuisine in a lovely seaside setting! Service was excellent. The waitress was very nice and upbeat. Throughout the meal, she was very attentive without being overbearing. The wine she recommended was wonderful. The tuna was very fresh and delicious. The octopus was tender and the sauce was terrific. The paella was even better than last year. For dessert, we shared the flourless chocolate cake which was a wonderful way to end a spectacular meal.

Casual beach-side dining. Start your day with breakfast, enjoying a mimosa, while overlooking the tranquil bay of Secret Harbour. For a break from the sun, stop by the bar for a frozen drink, ice cold beer or specialty cocktail. Hungry? Come by lunch or dinner for a specialty pizza, Sunset burger, Gourmet sandwich or fresh salad. Food was excellent, service was perfect along with the view! My filet was cooked as requested, my husbands tuna was fresh caught today (got to see a photo!). Did save room for dessert!!! Crème brûlée was fluffy & the lemon cheesecake was a perfect way to end the meal. Can’t wait to be back!!!

We usually stay at Gallows Point every year and reservations to be seated at the bar or at one of the high top tables in time to witness the beautiful sunset. The food is great and our bartender/server Amanda is attentive and delightful. The high point of our visit.
