Even though the restaurant was buzzing with activity, the service was incredibly attentive and personal, making us feel like honored guests the entire night. The ambience strikes a flawless balance between understated and elegant—a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage beautifully for a special occasion. Now, onto the food—where do I even begin? Rooh takes iconic Indian dishes and reimagines them with an innovative twist that leaves your taste buds singing. Highlights of our meal included the samosa and sweet potato chaat, a must-try for its bold yet harmonious blend of flavors and textures, and the biryani, which was fragrant, perfectly spiced, and a standout dish. The pinwheels were an unexpected delight, as gorgeous in presentation as they were satisfying in taste. Across the board, the dishes were a feast for the eyes and the palate, with flavor combinations that showcased warm spices in ways both familiar and fresh. A special shoutout to our server, Debjani, who was the true star of the evening. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she ensured every detail of our meal was extraordinary from start to finish. Her knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm added an extra layer of magic to the experience. Rooh Columbus is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience.
