As always, Gourmet and Company was outstanding! The food is always delicious, the wait staff very attentive and efficient. Portions are so generous that we always have leftovers! Great place to dine!!

Primo, which opened in the spring of 2014, is restaurateur Nathan Lindley’s tribute to his own North Chattanooga neighborhood, presented as a classic American-Italian neighborhood restaurant. Taking its culinary direction from the traditional Italian restaurants of the Northeast, Primo celebrates the rich and comforting dishes that were inspired by Italian cooking and influenced by American prosperity.
As a casual neighborhood bar and restaurant, Primo does not accept reservations for a specific time. A limited number of guests may guarantee a waiting table at the 5:00 opening each night. Also, throughout the night guests may call ahead to the restaurant at 423.602.5555 to be added to the waiting list. The dedicated staff and lively communal environment make for a short and enjoyable wait. Come see us soon.

We arrived at 4 for dinner and was not inforhat the dinner menu is not available until 5. This was not communicated on the reservation site. Food, location and servic were superb. When they realized we had to wait an hour over small bites and cocktails, they did a great job making the time go by. Even a free teay of oysters

Absolutely one of the best all around restaurants in this area! Our waitress was amazing, the assistant waiter, was amazing. The food was prepared impeccably! The ambience was wonderful and very nice holiday spirit!! I can’t give high enough recommendations for this restaurant! I had the red snapper and their special spinach salad!!

Several years ago, I decided that my future in the restaurant business would most likely not remain in the realm of fine dining and gourmands, but would rather lean towards the style of restaurant that I found myself frequenting most often - places that provided consistency and quality at a price that was fair for the quality of the food and experience. Public House plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting. You will find all the fish is delivered from Foley’s in Boston, high quality steaks and a rotating selection of vegetable sides that are true to the region and season. You’ll also find a really good hamburger and fish sandwich, along with fun snacks and small plates that pair well with cocktails, beer and wine.
