Excellent experience for our party of 28! The staff was exceptional and the food was amazing. Halie and her team created a VIP lounge experience. Everyone commented on how wonderful the event was.

Bastion is the 24-seat restaurant of James Beard Foundation Award Nominee Chef Josh Habiger. It is located in a separate area within the casual cocktail bar of the same name, and it is a part of the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood of Nashville, TN. Bastion's dining room features counter seating around the kitchen for parties of 2 as well as three tables for parties of 3 to 6. Bastion's small team serves a weekly set menu of six dinner courses featuring many dishes with a wide variety of flavors, ingredients, and inspirations. Friendly service guides you through the culinary experience, which also features wine pairings, creative cocktails, and a curated vinyl soundtrack. What an amazing experience! This was our first time at the Authentique and we will definitely be back! The food was delicious, genuine French cuisine. They had the best crepes I’ve had in years! The wine selection was great and the service was friendly. I highly recommend this place, they even had live jazz music! A tout a l’heure, Authentique!

We enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner. Food was outstanding and our server Euniqua was so cheerful, helpful and attentive. We had the chicken, fish, and French dip along with the Mulholland salad, grilled shrimp, and truffle fries. We topped it off with the Caramel Banana split. We loved every dish.

Sad this was our last meal here. Robert is an incredibly talented chef. Avery and Katy are lovely. The food and service were always spot on. We were lucky to have found such a special place. So sorry to know the doors are closing and we can’t come back.

Our waiter Taylor was excellent! Helpful in selections and super friendly! The food was delicious and the seafood fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend for a lovely non kitschy dinner downtown.
