Located near Bryant Park and the Chrysler building in Murray Hill, Kawachiya is a hidden gem conveniently located close to Grand Central Terminal.

Chef Ito Yoshitaka has been practicing his craft at the legendary Kawabun Ryotei in Nagoya, Japan since his youth. Hailing from a family of Washoku chefs, he applies his dedication and skills to bring a highly selective seasonal offering to New York to launch the first expansion of Kawabun since its founding in the early 1600s.

What a wonderful place. My spouse and I had the omakase experience and it was a feast for all the senses. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. The preparation and plating in front of us was truly a one of a kind event. Every plate was excellent and unique.

Upstate Craft Beer & Oyster Bar puts what it does right in its name. This is a place custom designed for fans of local small-batch brews and a well-stocked raw bar. The inside of the restaurant is as cozy and comfortable as one would expect, as it is a relaxed atmosphere similar to a sports bar in the off-season. One of the keys to Upstate's success is its commitment to freshness. So much so that there isn't even a freezer in the building as everything is brought in fresh daily.Obviously, the oysters and clams are what most patrons come for, and Upstate's selection of west and east coast varieties changes every day, depending on what is available. That's certainly not the only thing on the menu, though. Guests can try out shared plates of house cured salmon, crab cakes, squid salad and even sea urchin.

For beer and seafood lovers only. Both are excellent. No salads, no fries, no frills. But the staff is friendly, the selection of oysters is impressive, and the prices are very reasonable.

An Outstanding Experience at Tiny’s Cantina! We had the pleasure of dining at Tiny’s Cantina, and the service was absolutely exceptional! From the warm welcome to the attentive care throughout the meal, every detail reflected their dedication to creating a wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and the food was as delightful as the service. It’s rare to find a place where you feel so genuinely cared for. We came expecting great food, but we didn’t anticipate how much fun we’d have! From the lively vibe and great music to the energetic and friendly crowd, the atmosphere was a ten out of ten. The space was warm and inviting, buzzing with excitement yet relaxed enough to enjoy great conversation. We'll definitely be back for next month's pop-up!

Service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed a large house salad, chicken sandwich and the best Goodfellas burger with delicious French fries. The Wise Guy cocktail is always my favorite and the beer choices are excellent. We can't wait to go back. It is a great place to meet up with friends or come to see one of their special presentations.

Aunt Jake's was founded in 2015, as the company set out to replicate the idyllic, simplistic cuisine we grew up to enjoy. However, we wanted to create Italian food for the “next” generation. The idea was to develop an Italian concept around the customer’s choice of how to eat pasta compared to how the restaurant wanted you to eat it. With that in mind, Aunt Jake’s core mission is to bring high-quality fresh ingredients daily to craft our handmade pasta and sauces health-consciously. The customer can mix and match sauce with shape and create a custom dish of their own.
