What I love about Jeune at Jolie is that the food is amazing and the service is great but the atmosphere is not at all pretentious. The vibe is lively and fun, the selections are varied and should fit anyone’s needs. The service is above and beyond but not pushy.

This was the second year that I was able to celebrate my birthday at Steak 48, and again, it did not disappoint. They really make you feel special on your special day, and the food and service were outstanding. Thank you for making our dining experience an absolute pleasure. We will definitely be back again for another wondering evening out.

Newly remodeled, the much airier Tavern is all about art, music, and above all great food. Open for lunch and soon to include evening dining, the Tavern adds a distinctly Mexican/Pacific Coast set of flavors to the local fine dining scene.

We are located in the heart of the Cedros Design District, within walking distance of the Amtrak station. The style is casual with indoor and outdoor dining ( plus bar seating). The patio, which can accommodate 18 guests, looks out onto the shop-lined Cedros Avenue and can be separated from the main dining area for private events.

great food and selection. Could use some more/better 'smaller plates' and options (too much fried stuff on the app menu). Amazing lobster dumplings. street tacos would be a great addition to the dinner menu.

We currently offer a 10 course tasting menu that constantly is changing with the seasons and availability, featuring a wide variety of seafood and vegetables, a few meat courses, and desserts. We also have a la carte and vegan options available as well, and walk in guests are welcome to join us either at our bar, or if tables are available for the evening. With advance notice, we are happy to adjust the menu to accommodate most dietary restrictions. A5 Wagyu can be added for an additional $55 per person.

A great concept but very limited menu. Removed a favorite-the squash-and substituted it with an easier to prepare dish. Five skinny slices of Prager Brothers bread for $4.00 was excessive.

Service was a bit slow to start this time, but got better. The server seemed like he might be new at his job, so cutting him a little slack. The food as usual was fabulous. This is on our rotation.

The minute you walk into Poseidon, you’ll be swept by the fabulous view. You couldn’t be closer to the sand and the beach than sitting at Poseidon on their beautiful outdoor patio. With such a spectacular ocean view, you’ll experience breathtaking sunsets and during the right season even catch a glimpse of the whales migrating up or down the coast. The bar offers a large circular firepit, which is nice on those chilly fall or winter nights. Off to the side of the bar is a split level dining room offering every table a panoramic view of the beach and the ocean. For decades, Poseidon has delighted both local San Diegans and the tourists that love the beach.
