                                                                                              The servers were friendly, an professional. The reservation was met on time, but the food was a tad slow coming out of the kitchen. However, it was a holiday weekend, and the restaurant was packed, with a waiting line out the door, so not unexpected. The bacon wrapped scallops were the envy of everyone who didn’t order them.

                                                                                              Fine casual dining at its best with gorgeous view of the water, attentive customer service, and amazingly delicious dishes from grilled octopus to cioppino. Happy we stop by here to dine when there are other choices that could’ve been made.

                                                                                              We were in Monterey to see Amy Grsnt and chose the restaurant after looking at menu amd reviews. We love the food and pur tsble by the window. Even saw a seal. We’ll come back

                                                                                              My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner. Our waiter Arturo was very nice and professional. Sammy the owner greeted us on the way in and later shared a few laughs in the bar area. Food was great, the people were better.

                                                                                              Visiting a restaurant on a pier at a world famous destination as Monterey, one could think it would be too touristy for delicious cuisine. We were pleasantly surprised to receive attentive, friendly and comfortable service. Appetizers from octopus to roasted garlic was prepared to delight our taste buds The wedge salad topped off by in house dressing, crispy bacon, crisp and fresh, and large to share for two. Both entrees, stuffed salmon and pan prepped snapper, surrounded by fresh sauces and veggies were enjoyed that night and the next day, generous portions. Menu pricing, in today’s world was also unexpectedly competitive. We look forward to our next visit.
