Dominic and Jackie Galati purchased Dominic's on the Hill in 1971 and moved in above the restaurant. Within two years, Dominic began winning national awards and has continued to do so for the last 40 years. This is an exceptional restaurant with fine Italian cuisine, professional, friendly service, & an extensive wine list. Dominic oversees the kitchen,and the menu includes fresh seafood, veal, tenderloin, lamb, and many other choices. The restaurant has a Florentine atmosphere, with low lighting, white tablecloths, & classic oil paintings. Dominic's has been honored by DIRONA, 2001 Restaurant Hall of Fame, 1999 International Award of Excellence, The Epicurean Award & was voted one of the two best Italian Restaurants in the country by Conde Nast Traveller.
The second floor of the restaurant is available for private parties of 15-65. Please call for details. Smaller parties up to 18 people can be accommodated downstairs as well as larger parties up to 150.

The whole restaurant can also be reserved for up to 150 people. Private dining menus range in price depending on your budget and wants. Wine can also be ordered exclusively for your event. Didn’t disappoint! Such an amazing experience!! The service was fantastic! Food was so amazing! You must get their Veal! And the crème brûlée was outstanding! Also the restaurant is stunning! It is a must!

Absolutely outstanding! From the moment you walk in you are made to feel like a special guest. The wine list is outstanding with something for everyone. The menu featured some old school Italian favorites, but they took them up to whole new level. But it doesn’t stop as they are also include innovative dishes that are prepared with such care. The table side final presentation is so impressive. You must save room for dessert. Jackie’s Special Dessert should not be missed. Fantastic evening!

Dominic’s never disappoints. Elegant service, food, and atmosphere. The dress code is very much appreciated. Dominic himself visiting the guest to make sure their experience is the outstanding sets the dining over the top. This is our family’s go to when visiting St. Louis.

Everything was great. Noise is high when sitting next to two other tables with two people each. You can't have conversation because you only hear their conversations going on. Other then that, it was a great experience. Just not able to have our own conversations due to being so close and others listening or being over powered with conversations a foot next to us.

We have been lucky enough to eat Italian food at restaurants around the world, including many in Italy. Dominic's is up there with the very best of those. A bonus is the personal service that Dominic himself provides (including the singing!)

Perfect restaurant for us and a friend. We had our wedding reception here 25 years ago. It is the best! Love to see Dominic’s and today, his daughter. We look forward to many more years of a great experience.
