The truth is, you don't become a Louisiana favorite just by putting the word "authentic" on your sign. When you've served Cajun meals as long as we have, you learn the difference between real food and a bland imitation, and our guests know it too.     We ate at Dons 2 nights in a row. It was great both nights! Grilled oysters, gumbo, grilled black drum, and crawfish- all fabulous! Plus we loved Natalie, our server. We live in Texas, but can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

    We were taken care of from the time we got to the restrauant since our reservation with open table was done so efficiently! Dons service and the food was fabulous!

    We love coming to Don’s seafood! There is something on the menu for everyone and you can find something to enjoy while you are there. We ordered the grilled stuffed shrimp with the green beans and twice baked potatoes. We also had the charbroiled oysters and the crabmeat au gratin. Our server was great, I believe his name was Jason and the view was wonderful. We were seated in the back in the private room area!

    Oyster special is fantastic! Drinks were on point and the service was outstanding. AJ is such a sweetheart and so attentive, 10/10!!
