   Food and atmosphere was good. Unfortunately our service was terrible. 2 of 4 meals came out wrong. Never re-filled water glasses and didn’t give us happy hour drink price.

   We booked a table through Open Table for 8.45pm. We had to ask several times for our drinks order to be taken. When this was finally done, we asked could we order gaucomole and chips first and decide on main later. The bar server told us yes. This was really good food, very fresh. When we asked to order our mains we were told we couldn’t, the restaurant closed at 9pm! Why allow a booking for 8.45pm if the restaurant closes so early! Very disappointing.

   Sit downstairs for a cozy dinner! The queso and birria tacos are a must have! Wonderful waitstaff.

   only issue was they brought out one of our main meals before the apps! other than that! all good!!!

   Great place to dine before going to a broadway show. Our service was impeccable, fast and efficient, and our server couldn’t have been nicer. She made wonderful suggestions and really knew and understood the menu. Food was delicious, everything came out piping hot. Will definitely be returning.

   GEM in Times Square. The food is amazing, the drinks are on point. Favorite Mexican restaurant in NYC!

   Terrific service, food was well prepared. One dish was not prepared as ordered, server took it back and replacement was delivered quickly.

   Friends and I went for restaurant week and happy hour. Found the food to be okay, pretty bland. Nothing you wouldn’t get at any Latin restaurant. I also ordered a beef burrito to go but when I got home it was chicken, very disappointing. Our waitress seemed a bit too quick and fast talker and we felt she wasn’t paying attention to what we were saying. Service was okay. Would not recommend this restaurant.

    Made a reservation and in the notes it said that we were celebrating a birthday. We were using a birthday reward. The blonde young woman with glasses who seated us did not allow us to sit in a booth on the other side of a large party of 12 people. She told us we could not sit in high top area either then proceeded to sit guests that came after us in the booths we just asked to sit in (2 additional parties of 20. She did not relay info to waiter (who said she should have told him about birthday). So we got ready to pay the check when the waiter asked (who was wonderful and attentive) whether it was his birthday. We wound up staying and he gave is churros to take out which we ate when we got home. Would have been great to eat while hot. Also, the sides for the fajita were not enough for 4 fajitas. $35 for fajitas should have a good enough amount of rice, onions/peppers and condiments. The food was tasty and fresh so that was a plus.
