In the 20th century, times were simpler—dining out was reasonable, the service was excellent, and cooking was an art. My staff and I have tried to capture that ambiance of simple elegance. Our traditional values extend even further: there are no heat lamps or microwaves in our kitchen. Everything comes to your table straight from the broilers and ovens—good and hot—the way it used to be.

                                                                                  Definitely one of the go-to places is to eat in Lubbock Texas. Steaks are cooked perfection. Sides are cooked perfection. Cannot beat the service there.

                                                                                  Overall a great experience - but would Recommend one change: the odor from the spray your team used to clean tables while diners are eating is very unappetizing. Several Of us noticed. Would recommend cleaning product.

                                                                                  Perfect romantic experience, my wife and 1 and a half year old son went here for Valentine’s Day dinner. Service was amazing and professional. Food was delicious and fair priced for quality. Would recommend for any Lubbock couple or family to go for special occasions.

                                                                                  Great place to have a dinner date. It was a packed house but still felt like we had plenty of privacy. Waitress was great and very knowledgeable on the menu and drinks. It was a bit on the pricey side with our ticket coming out to about 250 tip and all. We will be back!!

                                                                                  Every aspect of the dining experience was spot on, which is especially impressive considering it was Valentine night and the restaurant was packed. Service and food were above average, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the exceptional meal we enjoyed. Double Nickel is a jewel in Lubbock’s crown!
