              Food always great! Service always great! Value isn’t completely directed to Duke’s…all Maui restaurants have similarly jacked up their prices(price fixing?🫢🤷🏼‍♂️)…it needs to come down.

              We arrived at 10:45, early for lunch but had drinks while we waited the 15 min to order. The server said he couldn’t put the food in until 11:10. Our food didn’t arrive until 12. It was okay, would’ve been good if it was hot. The fish in the tacos were cold and the nachos had obviously been sitting for a while, they were soggy and cold. Server was friendly enough, but we will stick to Leilani’s. Consistently great there every visit.

              Our waiter asked if we had allergies and I said shrimp and prawns. He did not know what prawns were had to explain several times. I thought he was kidding when he said he did not know what they were. Then he took our drink order and then came back and tried to take it again. Then we ordered one salad said we would share wanted it on one plate. He said we could split it on two and I said no one plate. Server came back with two plates. He was really off his game . Expected more from Dukes!

              Evan was an amazing host from start to finish. Friendly, helpful and super efficient. We sat at the edge of the patio and had a gorgeous ocean view. The live music set the perfect ambience. Food was delish…I love a tasty fish taco and Duke’s did not disappoint! Great way to start the New Year!
