    We had a lovely Valentine's dinner with my wife and daughter. It seemed like most of the waitstaff were new, as no one was quite sure how the Valentine's special worked. Some of the underage staff were delivering drinks without knowing if they were the correct ones. Despite the hiccups, we had a great time, though we did end up leaving a lot of food that didn’t quite suit our taste.

    We had an incredible Valentine’s Day at El Catrin. The food was abundant and so delicious. The margarita flights are a must-try. The staff is easygoing, attentive, and seem to genuinely enjoy their work. We will definitely be back!

    The service, ambiance, drinks and service were great but the food was really not. I found the tortilla chips and taco rolls too heavy and greasy and they were served with everything. The guacamole mixed at the table was the highlight but I couldn't finish my meal and left unsatisfied. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating as was the host.

    Joined the Guided Tequila Tasting dinner in Feb 2025. The hosts, Doug and Pamela were engaging, knowledgeable and very upbeat! The food was amazing and the chef came out multiple times to let us know what we were being served, and that was a nice touch! Definitely good value for your money. I left happy, knowing more about tequila, with a very full belly and a little buzz! Great night out! Thanks El Catrin! I would love to do this again!

    This is my second time visiting El Catrin but first time inside. The food was good with lots of vegetarian and began options. The only reason this is good is because of service level that day and not appropriately staffing the restaurant. I had booked a table for 3 people but when seated they added a seat to a 2 person high top table when I arrived. They offered another option but it was in the group room and we didn't go there as the vibe was different and at the time would have been the only ones in there. Thankfully we didn't go there as they seated a very large group in there and it would have been terrible. Our server was very attentive and lovely all around, but then a large group came in and we waited a while to get our first order of guac and drinks in. Drinks took a very long time and we still didn't have them until our guac was half gone. There was only one bartender on and the restaurant was full.
