Ernest’s Orleans Restaurant in keeping with tradition of it’s “Old World Charm” has been serving it’s own unique style and flavors of “The Finest” US Prime Beef, Seafood, and Italian cuisine for over 60 years. It will be the pleasure of our formally trained wait staff to vocalize the exquisite “Chef Features” that are available throughout the week. Our wait staff is also knowledgeable in pairing wines that will accommodate your dining experience. Many accolades, movie stars, and dignitaries are presented in the foyer that tells the tales of many years of it’s very unique and historical “Old World Charm” in serving “The Finest” New Orleans style cuisine.

We were seated right on time. Service was excellent and food was amazing. The food portions were huge. This was my first time to dine here. Will definitely return.

Earnest Orleans was phenomenal! The service was stellar from the time we walked in until the time we left. Brandy was our server and she is fantastic! She had extensive knowledge of Earnest Orleans history. Very impressive! I will most definitely be going back!

Enjoyed an excellent meal before the Nutcracker. We were an eclectic group with varied preferences. Everyone was able to enjoy a fabulous meal thanks to the extensive menu. It was the first visit for most of our group. All agreed to return soon. Excellent professional service, an extremely fine dining experience.

The food was stupendously delicious. The only experience that was a downfall was my Wife and I baked potatoes. We are pescatarians and we explained to the waiter no bacon please. What happens the bake potatoes have meat at the bottom. Upset and professionally calm at the same time we brought it to the waiter attention.The best thing is we were done with our main dish and the bake potatoes became meaningless even the replacements.. Would we go back? (YES)

An absolutely STELLAR experience at this charming institution. Our B &B owner strongly recommended that we sit in the bar, rather than the main restaurant, and it was a great choice. Dark, atmospheric, with fun 70’s classics and terrific people watching. Right after we were seated, they brought a loaf of hot, delicious bread and butter. We had the $30 Thursday Special: crab claws in a garlicky aioli sauce, salad, a choice of filet, chicken scallopini (can’t remember 3rd option), and a choice of bread pudding or cheesecake - what an incredible deal! Everything was fantastic, including the warm and friendly service. Will definitely go back the next time we are in Shreveport. Thank you, Ernest!

Not a good experience whatsoever. Not sure if the kitchen was having a bad night or what, but my newly engaged fiancée and I booked a reservation, and were overcharged and underserved. The flambé girl and our server didn’t communicate between courses and caused a 45min pause for our dessert. Most likely won’t return

First time to visit this restaurant. I ordered the lasagna, hands down the best I've ever had. My GF ordered the steak (med rare)and it was also delicious. Definitely want to go back soon.
