It is with a heavy heart that we bid our favorite "go-to" farewell. I have been going to Eveleigh since it took over from Kenneth Cole. I brought my now-wife there for one of our earliest dates, and we have been going there on the regular ever since. Great job, Eveleigh. We will miss you terribly.

This was the first restaurant I came to when I moved to LA 10 years ago and it has been a constant ever since. Thank you Eveleigh for so many beautiful nights with stellar cocktails, delicious food, and always the best vibe. We will miss you so much!

We will REALLY miss this spot. We are so sad to see it close. Their landlord must be an idiot. There are several empty restaurants on the block. I have no idea who they think will pay higher rent here. That being said, I have been coming here since it was remodeled from a Kenneth Cole shoe store. Great environment, fantastic bar (one of the original spots in town where detailed attention to cocktails resulted in incredible drinks. Call them "mixologists" if you will!). RIP Eveleigh, you will be very, very missed.

Brunch here is very bright and airy. Dinner has a very nice vibe as well. Everything about this place is mid— the service, food, drinks, etc. Not bad, not good, just mid. Not a bad choice, but mid-tier for West Hollywood.

I love their food and I hate that they’re closing. Joe was an awesome waiter. Everyone staff member was friendly and helpful.

When you go to a restaurant, you expect to be warm, even in the winter, right? Well this place was freezing. Next time I walk into a restaurant and the waitress is wearing a parka (yes a parka) I’m immediately leaving. We made the mistake of trying to brave it out. We asked if they could close the patio door to stem the arctic blast. They closed it, for 2 seconds. Then the rest of the staff left it open. When I mentioned to the parka wearing waitress that it was cold , she said “it’s winter you should wear a coat” (I was wearing a leather jacket). We got up and left. Let me spare you, don’t even go. The staff could not have cared less and the place was empty at 7 pm in the heart of Hollywood. Hard pass.

Eveleigh is a magnificent restaurant with a concise yet varied seasonal menu of beautiful dishes and exemplary service staff. Everything we tried was excellently composed, from the fennel rágu to the half chicken on garlic labneh to the shishito peppers with sherry vinegar. Their pizzas are particularly well made, with gorgeous leoparding and creative flavors. This was our first return to the restaurant since before the Pandemic, and it is even better than we remembered. If I had to pick one snit with this wonderful restaurant, it would be that the back half of the restaurant is a tent, and despite the many, many heat lamps it can still be slightly drafty, so keep your coat.

So disappointed they are closing down! They have been an institution in our neighborhood for 15 years. We will miss them and their wonderful management and staff :( I hope everyone who is employed by Eveleigh finds work, especially at this time during the holidays and the turmoil that exists in our country in general.
