EVO, short for evolution, represents a dream inspired by my mother to bring the familiar feeling of family to you, by showcasing my Italian home-style cooking from the freshest ingredients incorporated into my family’s recipes that have been passed down from many generations. My Sicilian mother and grandparents raised me to respect the heritage and tradition of the Italian culture. The draw of family brought me to south Florida where I opened Evo to continue to share my family’s secret recipes and the warmth of the Italian way of living. Through hard work and perseverance I climbed the ranks of some of the most well respected and popular restaurants in New York so that I can bring you Evo. So please come and join us. We had another fabulous dinner last night at EVO. The jumbo shrimp parmigiana and veal chop were perfectly prepared. The service was wonderful and we appreciated the attention we received from the team. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and made the evening delightful. We love the atmosphere and the fact that we got a table for four when there were only two of us p. We will be back.

FOOD WAS GREAT BUT SEATING WAS VERY TIGHT AND RESTAURANT WAS VERY LOUD. MAYBE SATURDAY ISN'T THE BEST DAY TO DINE HERE.

We were a group of six for dinner on a Saturday night, and we ate out in a lovely garden, which allowed us to hear each other. We started with a few appetizers, most of which were just OK. Everyone seem to enjoy their entrées except for one person, whose fish was cold and had to be sent back. Our server was excellent and we had a delightful evening together there. I would definitely go back and have dinner here again, although maybe not on a Saturday night

What a nice restaurant! It came highly recommended. The bread, olive oil & balsamic was a nice touch at the beginning. Our waitress couldn’t have been better she was thoughtful and patient and let us try many different wines until we found the one that everyone in our party enjoyed. The meatballs are a must the most amazing meatballs ever. I ordered the pork chop special the pork was tough and over cooked the Gorgonzola sauce on top was just ok. Happy I tried something different but not a home run. My husband ordered the fish over the sweet pea risotto which was delicious. We will definitely go back and I will try a dish from off the menu.
