   Absolutely fantastic experience!! The food and staff were amazing. We went by the recommended menu and it didn’t disappoint. The gentleman serving us was super informative, funny and helpful. Loved the ambiance. Definitely a high level experience and I must say, for Vancouver, it was super affordable.

   Lamb was so very tough even though server described as “fall off bone.” No one checked on my inability to cut it - managed to hail down manager who provided a new one, after the crest of my party finished their meals. Equally tough lamb. This meal should’ve been comped but was not. Sadly won’t be back:(

   Our first time to Fable Kitchen and it did not disappoint! Ambience, service, food - all woven into a casually elegant, local vibe in the heart of Kitsilano. Food was clean, farm to table, local and fresh. Many excellent BC wine selects available as well. If you're a local and you haven't gone yet, go! If you're visiting from out-of-town, go!

   Excellent food and service! Staff was very helpful and patient. They made us a fresh batch of coffee even though we were the last ones in the restaurant

   We went for breakfast on a Saturday. After one of us had our meal served, it took a little more than 10 minutes for the other party to get her food. The food wasn't something special as we expected with all the 3 Michelin awards at the window. In fact, the quality of the baked potatoes were bad, the bread was almost Wonder bread quality level. Noise from the chit chat of the staff was clear and loud. Very polite group of employees. Seatings were quite uncomfortable. The interior was nice and cozy. Overall not recommended from my , at least for breakfast.

   The eggs Benedict is outstanding and the service is excellent. It was bustling today, so can be a little challenging to hear over the din.

    Best meal of a week-long trip. Creative, precise cooking. Professional, but not intrusive service. Music in the background, but you can talk. Surprise hit: A squash over homemade tagliatelle ragout that somehow was savory with just hints of the kaboucha squash's sweetness. Duck breast on point. Nice selection of wines by the glass. A true neighborhood gem, but it's beyond that.
