When I opened my doors in July of 2009, I committed to serving the freshest Italian dishes made from local and seasonal ingredients. I learned early the heart of Italian cooking is the flavor…or sapore. My school of teaching was from the best; my Nonna Elena and Mother Lia. Their philosophy has been carried on in my style of cooking: use simple ingredients and the food will speak for its self. Classic Italian dishes grace the menu but are personalized with my unique touch. Quality and consistency is what you will find with each dish. I would never serve anything short of that. So whether you are looking for a memorable night out or a glass of wine with friends, I am glad that you have chosen Sapore.     This is the second time I have been to Lorenzo’s. It did not disappoint. I brought my partner and a friend. My partner has never been to St Louis before and I wanted her to experience the food in The Hlll. She loved it. The waiter was courteous and attentive, the restaurant I would t say is loud but there definitely is a good buzz of people talking and enjoying each other’s company. I will definitely recommend and hopefully come back in the future on trips to St Louis.

    Loved it! We went on Valentine's. We had our 6 year old with us, and they made her feel so special. The food was delicious. They serve small plates so we had several and they were all very flavorful. Our kid had the butter noodles with grapes and she enjoyed it. The service was excellent! We highly recommend.

    Lunch was amazing! Excellent service and amazing food. We started with a glass of Prosecco while sampling the amazing focaccia! Best ever! Next the mushroom and black truffle soup followed by the fish sandwich of the day.
