In 2006 Antonio's middle daughter Alessandra became the manager and has since taken over with her husband Micah. Alessandra and Micah take pride in keeping the long-standing traditions and reputation of serving exceptional Italian cuisine alive. Nino's has attracted devoted locals who return time and again, along with a long list of who had heard of Nino's reputation and stopped in to sample the fare. Many of the dishes on Nino's menu are original recipes brought from Italy by Antonio and his brother Giuseppe. Antonio's favorite dishes are those named after his daughters, Gabriella, Alessandra, and Michela; his wife Elena (Helen); his brother Giuseppe; his brother-in-law Paola, and himself and the grandchildren. The pasta dish which bears the name of Nino's is a recipe from Mama Noviello. My wife and I split the pear and frizzett salad and each of us had the mushroom ragu. Both dishes were excellent as usual. And as usual, we so enjoyed being with the folks who work at La Tavola. Beth does such a great job coordinating everything.

It had been a long time since we had been to Bistro Niko, primarily because our last experience wasn’t the best. For the holidays, we decided to give Bistro Niko another try because of the festive decor and recent reviews we read. I have to say, everything was stellar! Our group was impressed with the food, and the service. Everything we ate was delicious! I think my favorites were the Florida shrimp and tuna tartar appetizers. The beet salad was also amazing. Entrees, you can’t go wrong with the Trout or Twin Beef Tenderloin steaks. Very tasty. Borgi, our server was excellent! Gave us great service and was very attentive. He checked on us frequently without being too much. A big part of our pleasant experience had to do with him. Ours girls night out at Bistro Niko was fantastic!
