- DDerekLas Vegas •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoA lukewarm reception as I don’t think the gentleman who booked us in and took our menus uttered a single world to us when we arrived. He just collected the menus from their storage shelf and headed for the table. Not to worry though as (spoiler alert!) the food was excellent! It’s also fair to say he warmed up once we were seated and looked after us well. Overall I’d say this was a very enjoyable evening. We went for the Festive Set Menu which is terrific value! The portion sizes were generous too. My wife’s turkey was thick, juicy and flavourful and my Flat Iron Steak was perfect. A five star experience, just a pity about the blasé welcome.More infoBread Street Kitchen & Bar — EdinburghPrice: Moderate• British• New Town•3.8

- SSusanLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis is not a cheap option for lunch, but for a special occasion or treat, it is one of my favourite places in Edinburgh. The food, service and ambience are consistently exceptional. Definitely need to book in advance. The phone was busy all lunchtime with people looking for a table that night but they were fully booked.More infoCafé St HonoréPrice: Very Expensive• French• New Town•4.6
