The food was outstanding and the service was great too. The beef tartare, parsnip veloute and smoked salmon were all amazing as starters, as were the sirloin and pork for main course. Our mains were presented to us whilst still eating our starters. We weren’t at all slow so there was no apparent reason. We sent away the first server and then a couple of minutes later another appeared with the plates again! They did not appreciate that what they were doing was wrong. It was a busy Saturday and maybe the serving staff were not fully experienced, certainly their reaction, or lack of understanding, might suggest this. However, I suspect the real issue was in the kitchen as the waiting staff would just deliver whatever was brought to the pass.
