Best Authentic Restaurants in Fair Haven

Good food and nice ambience. However, I was shocked to see charge of $4 for warm tap water. It seemed very unethical. Table was too small. There Was hardly any space for foood to be kept in the table.

I had leek soup, which was nice and hot, good presentation, and tasted good. My wife had a salad, which she said was good, large pieces of feta cheese. The bread was warm, soft, and tasty. She also had the prime strip steak, which was cooked correctly, to order. I had the caccio e pepe, which was better than expected, and I really liked it. Quality over quantity. My wife had Riesling, I had red wine (ironically, should've been the other way around given what we ate). I had a red Burgundy, which was good; then a Willamette pinot noir, which was a very nice sequence. She had a lemon cake for dessert, I had a vintage port wine, which was quite good. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Loud at first, but it quieted down. Narrow space to walk between tables, then larger as more people departed. Spent $250 with tip.

What a nice place for a client appreciation meal! Monica was our server/waitress. Very attentive and polite. Ravioli appetizer, lamb chop and dover sole entrees were delicious. Terrific wine list! I have been a Birmingham resident for 36 years and it is nice to have this restaurant so close. to home.

Fun, casual restaurant. Great margarita and fajitas. Portions are very large.
