Best Authentic Restaurants in Lisle

Chama Gaucha exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked in, the service was impeccable—attentive, professional, and welcoming. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special night out.

It was so nice to go to a restaurant that was well lit and bright. Love the decor, and the staff is very friendly. The food is good. And we liked that the portions were manageable. The menu has a nice variety. We will definitely be back.

Thassos is a place where families go to have a nice weekend dinner, and so do dates, singles and friends. We made a reservation on Saturday morning on Opentable, and got a 5:30 reservation for 2 in a room that was pretty quiet, and we had the option to sit in a booth. Nice start! We have been here before with family and friends, so we decided just to pick several appetizers to sample more than just two entrees. Our picks--shared a greek salad to start, then ordered charbroiled sardines (great if you love fish), dolmades (stuffed grapevine leaves with minced meat and rice in light lemon sauce) and spanokopita (crispy baked phyllo with feta and spinach inside). Perfect amount of food for the two of us. I had a glass of wine and spouse had a soda. Bill before tax and tip was about $70. I would recommend dining early to avoid a noisy environment because Thassos does get busy after 6 pm.

I love this restaurant every time I come here the food is just amazing. Service is always great. They have a lemon cello that will knock your socks off Donnie the GM does a great job. The bar is fully stacked. Their food is excellent. I had to sautéed calamari today and it was without a doubt the best I've ever had. Good wine selection love the Cabernet blend. Ordered a side Caesar salad and it was a full meal. Unbelievable this place is great.

The food was fantastic and the live music was unbelievable - Diva, as always was magnificent! Terry and Dave are a wonderful addition adding live keyboard, horns, guitar, and additional vocals - the "Dance Trio" makes the night fun and entertaining!
