What an absolute gem! We were in town to visit family. It just so happened it was also our 40th anniversary so I was looking for somewhere special for dinner. I stumbled upon Batuqui on the Falls. Oh my gosh!!! What a find this turned out to be. The food was absolutely superb. My wife had the Moqueca Baiana (stew) wish fish. It was delicious. I had the Picanha Acebolada. It too, was very good. Both dishes was so much more food than we could eat. The stew was favored more by both of us. It was absolutely out of this world. While the picanha was very good… the stew was on a whole different level. The service was spot on. The atmosphere was somewhat romantic. It was a very nice place! This place would most certainly be on our regular circuit had we lived closer. Thank you for a special night!

Excellent waiter. Food was great We arrived early and stayed late so we saw the restaurant fill up and empty out and we were well served throughout and never rushed.

Our waiter was excellent. Our food was superb. One of the couples made a special request, and the waiter easily accommodated the request. I had a filet mignon and some shrimp. The filet was done perfectly; the shrimp was extremely tasty. The garlic mashed potatoes were excellent. We would definitely come again.

Josh was great! The food was great. Can’t wait to go back!
