We just moved to our new beach location as La Tapa Plage in March of 2022, still featuring the same interesting ever changing menu including fresh local seafood, organic greens & herbs form Coral Bay, flavors with a touch of Spain & France (Basque Country), Germany and Caribbean. Our goal is to make you feel welcome, cozy and inspired by our great wines, delicious food, good service in a beautiful atmosphere. ---Open for dinner service at 5PM Friday through Wednesday. French Quarter Bistro was opened in 2018 in the heart of Frenchtown by Ed and Amoi Foerstel due to their love of all cuisine, Cajun. Creole is derived from the many cultures who have settled in New Orleans, including; French, Spanish, West African, Caribbean, German, Italian, and Irish. Cajun is derived from the French-speaking Acadians who settled in the bayous south of New Orleans. The influences of the French are the most prominent of both cuisines. Almost all of our Creole and Cajun dishes begin with a stock (poultry, beef, or seafood), trinity (onions, green bell peppers, celery), and a roux (blonde, brown, or dark), lending a unique flavor to our Gumbo and other dishes. Our server, Ashton was incredible as well as our food. It was paste perfectly, the chef got it right and we had a wonderful table at sunset. Highly recommend for a beautiful evening with your loved one.

Exceptional sincere customer service. Fantastic wine and cocktails. Unbelievable unique cuisine. First time I’ve had acorn only fed pork wagyu (Abanico Iberico) and it blew my mind. Seafood was excellent! Oh don’t forget the waterfront view of Cruz Bay. If you go to St. John and like seafood, wine, or Mediterranean Food then this is a must go! Michelin star quality but priced appropriately. 5 Stars!
