Our sourdough pizzas uphold the tradition of Neapolitan Pizza. Our bases are naturally leavened using Caputo flour, imported from Italy, and allowed to prove for 24-48 hours. We use D.O.P. San Marzano tomato for all red pizza bases. Our Fior Di Latte (fresh cows milk mozzarella), Buffalo mozzarella, Ricotta and Burrata cheeses are sourced from premium local manufacturers. Our selection of Salumi (cured meats) are from local producers unless otherwise specified. We hand-make our own pork sausages, preserved tomatoes and pickled vegetables.

Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. The pizza and meatballs were lovely as usual but must congratulate the waitress for her exceptional service last Saturday night. We were up front and she went about her duties efficiently and with a smile on her face. Very busy with people just turning up and having that to deal with as well. She is definitely a keeper.
