- OOliviaGreensboro / Winston Salem / Highpoint •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoFood was really very good! There was no mention from our server of our birthday celebration (despite our indicating so on the open table reservation form as prompted to do so) Service was just ok, server was very nice and personable but did not offer to refill coffee or water until long after our drinks were empty and our food was finished.More infoMimi's Cafe - GreensboroPrice: Moderate• American• Greensboro•4.3
- AAdrienneGreensboro / Winston Salem / Highpoint •15 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoExceptional service. Dinner is more of a fine dining experience. I have eaten there for brunch a number of times. After all the big holiday meals, we had some small plates to share and a glass of wine. Even though we were not eating an entree, our wait person took as much time and care with us as she did the larger parties around us. Crispy brussell sprouts, calamari, and salads satisfied us without overfilling us. The honey with the calamari was an exceptional combination with the cocktail sauce, a little sweet, a little spice and savory. I love the crispy brussell sprouts any time of the day or evening. My friend had a beet salad which she enjoyed. She loves beets and the golden beets in this salad were not to "beety" even for me to sample. If you love beets, you should get this salad. This restaurant stays on our rotation in every season. Can't wait for spring when most likely we'll be back again for brunch and a family birthday. - DDianaGreensboro / Winston Salem / Highpoint •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoOur server, Tom Phillips was absolutely amazing! He provided great food recommendations and great conversation - not too much or a long conversation, but perfect and very enjoyable, Tom suggested the Jambalaya and the Southern Cassoulet along with the appetizer of Fried Green tomatoes. All were Excellent! A great evening, excellent food and outstanding food!More infoLucky 32 Southern Kitchen - GreensboroPrice: Moderate• American• Greensboro•4.7
- OTOpenTable DinerDallas - Fort Worth •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024The Green Valley Grill is just wonderful! We stopped by on our way back to Durham after visiting the Christmas light show at Kersey Valley Farms. I had been wanting to take my husband there after eating lunch with friends on a Greensboro day trip. The food did not disappoint, and the cocktails were some of the best we've ever had. We enjoyed a selection of small plates, and the crab-spinach dip was especially good, with the lovely sharp cheese balancing the slightly sweet crab and fresh spinach. The only hitch is that it was VERY BUSY when we arrived, and we were seated in a remote corner of the bar instead of the main dining room, despite having reservations. No biggie, I've worked in the food industry, so I get it. Our server overlooked us for about 15 minutes, and we got pretty hungry. So, my husband spoke briefly to the GM about getting some food, and then they overwhelmed us with attention and gave us one of the small plates at no charge. This is how you turn customers into loyal patrons. We would drive to Greensboro just to have dinner here -- it's that good!More infoGreen Valley GrillPrice: Expensive• European• Greensboro•4.8
