Its intimate, sultry atmosphere, outdoor garden seating and its authentic Italian cuisine make it a favorite with diners from around the Puget Sound and beyond. Serafina's philosophy is simple: Offer the freshest, highest quality ingredients, present the food in an honest and inviting way, and provide the casual warmth and soothing ambiance that echoes the welcoming embrace of an Italian home. The ritual of coming together sharing wine and food with family and friends is the central motif in our lives. We had a wonderful afternoon tea at the Queen Mary with a group of friends celebrating a birthday. It was delicious, as always, and the service was especially good. Kudos to the Queen Mary! I grew up overseas and attended a British boarding school with tea every day, so I have high standards. The QM never disappoints. In fact, I’ve had tea at the Four Seasons in DC and in Seattle, tea at Bouchart Gardens in Victoria, and tea in Hong Kong at the Penninsula (back in the day) and none of them were as good as Seattle’s Queen Mary. It is one of my favorite places.
