The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. From Ales to YPA’s, to Blonde beers we are a small producer using primary English hops brewing exclusively in house for The Hop Vine and our sister pub the Legh Arms.Our countryside sister the Legh Arms is our latest addition to the family and is situated in the pretty hamlet of Mere Brow.     We lunched with friends who had never been to Albert’s and they were amazed at the quality and value for money of the food. The drinks were equally good value …£8 for an Espresso Martini is brilliant. We asked to change tables and they did this for us and without fuss. Our server was friendly and very competent and the decor and ambience were first class. You have gained two new customers who no doubt tell their friends, As for us, Albert’s has never let us down.

    This was the most amazing food in a perfect venue. They really have transformed this building into the most amazing restaurant. The service is some of the best we’ve ever experienced. We had some brilliant recommendations on food and wine and I can’t thank the team enough for a wonderful evening.

    Visited Dish with two friends for our christmas get together. The restaurant was busy and buzzing, lots of laughter and very christmassy. The service was lovely even though they where busy they where attentive. The food was wonderful and i would highly recommend a visit.
