- CCatharineVancouver / British Columbia •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy husband and I had dinner here on Saturday night. We were skeptical about the food, as I have read a couple bad reviews online. However, we wanted some live music so we gave it a shot. Our server was called Felicia and she absolutely phenomenal. I have a severe nut allergy and she reassured me that the kitchen could accommodate all allergies. She also recommended some items from the menu in detail and helped us with our selection. She was very knowledgeable about the food and drink menu and was helpful with any questions. She was the best server we have experienced in a long time. I ordered the chicken and brie sandwich and my husband ordered the burger. We were both blown away by the food. It was delicious and fresh. We learned that at Kingfisher they make these delicious sauces in house. The focaccia bread that my sandwich came on was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and the live music was also wonderful. There was a great atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back. We recommend everyone give this place another chance. Maybe they had a rough patch post covid, but from what we could see this place is an excellent choice for dining in Maple Ridge.More infoKINGFISHERS WATERFRONT BAR & GRILLPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Maple Ridge•4.4
- CCatherineVIPVancouver / British Columbia •8 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoS&L Langley boasts a vibrant atmosphere with friendly staff. The food, however, wasn't as good as I remember. The calamari with rice flour was excellent, albeit small. My wagu carpaccio excellent save for the extremely small serving of crostini (so many holes I had virtually nothing to serve as a base for my wagu beef). My husband's Miso Salmon was overcooked to the point of dryness. Having made numerous trips to Peru, I can honestly say the Pisco Sours were flat and certainly lacking the punch of a 'made-in-Peru' specialty. Seems S&L Langley might want to pay a bit more attention to their end product!More infoS+L Kitchen & Bar LangleyPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Langley•4
- SShenazVancouver / British Columbia •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had dinner for 3 (2 adults and 1 child). Both adults ordered the Caymus menu and it was fantastic. I highly recommend the scallops in particular but all the food and wine pairings were fabulous. My child ordered little Italy off the kids menu and really enjoyed their gummy bear mocktails. Overall it was a fantastic evening!More infoSidebar GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Langley•4.1
