We had a burger, a winter salad special, baked haddock, and fish and chips, Two people had the clam chowder. Nothing but praise for all of the food. They even met our request for a quiet area since we were meeting old friends from Maryland. The location in the restaurant was perfect at a round table that made for easy communication for all of us, including those with hearing challenges. Much appreciated.More infoBoston Tavern - MiddleboroPrice: Moderate• American• Middleborough•4.7

The food is reliably nicely prepared and delicious and authentically French, and the staff is typically excellent. It very much reproduces the atmosphere and cuisine of an authentic French neighborhood bistro right in the heart of Beacon Hill - like having our own bouchon in walking distance! Also like real bistros and bouchons, the prices also are not extortionate. Whether it is lunch with friends, or entertaining out of town guests at dinner, I am never disappointed. The combination of excellent food, service, atmosphere and fair prices make it by far my first choice for dining in Beacon Hill.More infoMa MaisonPrice: Moderate• French• Beacon Hill•4.8

I made a reservation for a hi top table in the lounge. We were seated in the lounge and right in front of the fireplace. It was a freezing cold winter night so it was perfect. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She brought out bread and we ordered drinks and buffalo chicken dip to start. The dip was delicious and just enough to not fill up on. We ordered our meals and more drinks. The food came out and was spaced perfectly. We both enjoyed our meals and had no room for dessert. The menu is huge and the prices are reasonable, especially for the food quality. Fireside is a large restaurant and it was at full capacity. I highly recommend this place but suggest making reservations. We’ll definitely be back … maybe for my birthday next month!More infoFireside GrillePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Middleborough•4.6

Started off with the beet appetizer and the 3 cheese plate, cheddar was a little dry but otherwise tasty. We had the gnocchi (my wife claimed it was the best pasta she has ever had) and I had the tagliatelle. Both were superb. We split the pumpkin tart. The food was excellent, perfectly served and very tasty. What made the night was our server, Maria. Absolutely the best service we have had in any restaurant: attentive, personable, interested.......ne plus ultra........thank you for making this meal and night out a memorable experience.More infoHarvestPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Cambridge•4.6
