Best Brunch Restaurants in Montrose

We had a great time with an amazing view. Perfect day. The food was fantastic, although I think you’re a little proud. It’s just eggs Benedict. I appreciated the passion of the young waiter, but him telling me what his “favorite” cheese, on the charcuterie platter isn’t necessary. I’d imagine most people who are coming to a place like this have much more culinary experience than the assumingely slick young waiter recommending the most expensive things on the menu.  maybe I’m wrong and I underestimate the “general public”, but everything was just, fine, the  ambience was fantastic. Come for the view, the food is , fine. 

I booked afternoon tea for a group of four. We were seated promptly, and blankets were provided to keep us warm outside, which my guests loved. The tea and scones arrived quickly, and everything was delicious—warm tea, tasty sandwiches, and lovely desserts. Although the outdoor seating is near the road, it wasn’t busy, so noise wasn’t an issue. Some additional separation, like drapery or dividers, could enhance the ambiance, but the shrubbery provided adequate distance. Overall, we had a fantastic afternoon and will definitely return. Wonderful service from Alfredo on Christmas Eve. Great attention and food. Reasonable prices and good food. Patio seating a little cool in evening since unheated though covered.

The food was quite tasty. We asked to sit upstairs which was very nice, but then a large party with young children in sports uniforms sat at a long table next to us and it became very noisy. Not sure if their blue cheese dressing is different than most, but I asked for it on the side and it looked like a Ranch dressing. I asked if I could exchange it for Blue cheese, but what they brought looked and tasted more like Ranch than Blue cheese. So not sure if their Blue cheese dressing is more like a Ranch dressing... But my hard chicken taco and beef tamale was delicious!
