- BBarryNew Mexico •47 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAs I wrote last time we ate there, 4940 has matured and mastered the art of combining excellent food with impeccable service. From being greeted by Julie to Kyle's recommendations and service, the feeling is one of returning to one's favorite neighborhood restaurant to be greeted and served by old and good friends and neighbors and a kitchen that comes through every time. The grilled romaine salad is as good as it gets; the sea bass was once again the jewel of the restaurant; the Moroccan spiced lamb shank was very good; and the desserts were terrific. I find the chocolate dessert a bit dry for my taste but the chocoholics in our party of five were very pleased with it and my apple creme brulee was great. The piece d'resistance was Julie's decaf cappuccino - smooth and just right to go with the dessert. A lovely evening. Along with the Indigo Crow ("the Crow") 4940 gives Corrales Village two great choices for relaxed and very satisfying fine dining.More infoRestaurant Forty Nine FortyPrice: Very Expensive• American• Los Ranchos•4.5
- AAnitaHawaii •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food was excellent and well presented on the plates. The salads were beautiful and delicious, we had the beet salad, grilled Romain and wedge. All three could be split between 2 people. We ordered the lamb, lobster ravioli and the halibut. All delicious and creativity prepared. There was no room for dessert! Our waiter was accommodating and professional. Overall a wonderful experience.More infoIndigo CrowPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Albuquerque•4.8
- EEricaVIPNew Mexico •87 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe used the BOGO Free email for our dinner. I had the salmon with baked potato and calabacitas while my partner had enchiladas with a relleno and fried egg. We shared the guac. He enjoyed his margarita while I sipped my delicious Sauvignon Blanc. The room was lovely and warm by the fire. Our waiter was very attentive which made our dinner and time at El Pinto all the nicer! Thank you for hiring such great staff. It's one reason we continue to go to El Pinto coupon or not. We highly recommend.More infoEl PintoPrice: Moderate• Mexican / Regional American (Southwestern)• Albuquerque•4.5
- NNancyVIPNew Mexico •101 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe three friends came for dinner before a concert. The seasonal decorations were lovely and the booth by the window had a beautiful view of the Sandias and the city lights. Our server was very good even though he seemed so young. The price of the wine by the glass is pretty high. I would recommend just buying a bottle. My beet salad was excellent as was the bruschetta. The portions are large and reasonably priced. My mussels were very salty but the chef graciously redid my order with less seasoning. My friends had chicken Parmesan and the Dijon chicken. The Parmesan version seemed to be the better choice. Can’t wait to bring my husband.More infoD.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro - CottonwoodPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Los Ranchos•4.4
