Best Brunch Restaurants in Eastwood

Superb in all regards except one! The service was charming and very professional. The food was delicious and without fault. Portions ample, perfectly cooked and presented! Overall flawless however the coffee is awful! Really poor. The house cafetière coffee which my wife had, was bad, very 1970’s warm with very low quality taste. Not trusting cafetière coffee I ordered a cappacino at extra cost which was as poor. Come on Dovecote, time to catch up with the rest of the world and serve decent coffee. Such a prestigious reputation and otherwise generally great - what a shame!

Another fantastic Sunday lunch at Blacklock Manchester. Great food and lovely friendly service from Abi, Amii, Peter, and the team. Highly recommend the all-in roast, which comes with huge Yorkshire Puddings, lots of vegetables including roast potatoes (nearly as good as mine 😉), melt in the mouth beef, lamb, and pork, and a beautifully rich gravy. Save room for their bread and butter pudding - perfect comfort food. Our 6th visit to Blacklock Manchester after many years frequenting the Soho branch in London. Very pleased to have Blacklock in Manchester and wishing you all the best for 2025. Highly recommend!

Lovely meal on Christmas Eve , asked for a table in the restaurant as it was our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely table by the window

Had an incredible night celebrating our anniversary. Tasting experience was incredibly interesting and unique. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my partner's gluten intolerance, and every team member we spoke to were amiable, polite and great conversationalists.

Excellent as always. Food was great, service excellent. Great festive atmosphere
