- VVernaOxford/Oxfordshire •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe restaurant was busy on Saturday night in the lead-up to Christmas, but it was easy to find. A little noisy, which was fully expected. Despite her hectic schedule, our restaurant attendant Anastasia was attentive and considerate of my dairy intolerance. The starters and main courses were delicious; however, I thought the dessert selection was limited for those who avoid dairy. We would be happy to return, as we had a wonderful experience.More infoThe Ivy Oxford BrasseriePrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• Oxford•4.5
- JJaimeOxford/Oxfordshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food in this restaurant is just out of this world. Prepared with local ingredients and made simple and sophisticated at the same time. As an example, I ate quince in a salad, which I never did before and I wasn't even aware of that possibility. It was fantastic. The service was also great. Always available but not annoying, perfectly balanced. Will come back. ThanksMore infoFive Little PigsPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Wallingford•4.6
- JJaneOxford/Oxfordshire •11 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe most beautiful restaurant especially in a window seat overlooking the river. The service is spot on- attentive but not at all intrusive eg when our water ran out it was quickly and quietly replaced before we’d even noticed. We were not hurried along and they didn’t rush to give us our bill. And the food is simply lovely; very attractively presented, very tasty and I just wish I could have eaten more. - JJaneOxford/Oxfordshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoGorgeous venue beside the river which is lovely even on a cold and wintry day. Blazing log burner is warming and cosy to look at. The dog friendly area looked great although we only passed through The access and amenities for older or slightly disabled friends was excellent. Food is always wonderfully presented and tastes good! People serving were friendly and efficient. Thank you for a very pleasant lunch.More infoThe Beetle & WedgePrice: Moderate• British• Wallingford•4.6
